When you have more money than the worlds richest fictional duck, Scrooge McDuck, it only makes sense that you should take up an obscenely expensive hobby to match the millions (or billions if you rather).

Now there’s many hobbies you can take part in but really what better hobby than to collect exotic cars so rare they may not even really exists besides, well, yours?

While most of us would probably not be able to afford even one of these extraordinary classic cars, in the case of the mega-rich it’s all about owning as many as its physically possible to drive in for the remaining years of their lives.

We’ve spoken about this man before but we can’t get enough of his collection, and that’s Jay Leno.

In our last article, Carlassic’s Top 5 Favourites from Jay Leno’s Garage, we touched on a handful of Leno’s pride and joy.

There’s plenty more where that comes from. Leno is the proud owner of the following and their hefty price tags:

  • Mclaren P1 Sports $1,733,712 AUD
  • Bugatti Type 57 Atlantic SC $37,163,490 AUD
  • 1969 Lamborghini Muira P400S $61,939,150 AUD

Batter up! Our next multi-million classic car collector is World Champion UFC Fighter, Floyd Mayweather

Earlier this year Mayweather tweeted a photo of his crazy car collection that has estimated to be a net worth of $8 million AUD.

This isn’t afraid of much including flaunting his money so it’s no surprise he has an extensive collection of flashy, exotic cars.

Some of these include:

  • Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano — $US350,000
  • Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet —  $US170,000
  • Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 — $US400,000
  • Ferrari 458 Italia Spider — $US260,000
  • Ferrari 458 Italia Spider — $US260,000
  • Gulfstream GIII — est. $US2 million.
  • A Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport — $US1.9 million
  • The Bugatti 16.4 Veyron — $US1.3 million
  • Bugatti 16.4 Veyron —  $US1.3 million

Next is one of the most famous British F1 drivers, Lewis Hamilton. Makes sense for a Famous Formula 1 driver to own a more insane car collection than what we would have ever dreamed.

Hamilton’s loyalty shows in his collection, and what a freakin’ beauty that is!

  • LeFerrari $2,482,575
  • McLaren P1
  • 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 $2,730,833
  • Pagani Zonda 760 LH Mercedes-Benz SLS Black Series
  • 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 $172,893

Jerry Seinfeld is hilarious on television but his car collection means serious business. This funny-guy is another celebrity we have covered on Carlassic once before.

His new Netflix show ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’ is sure to be nothing but a hit. Seinfeld himself explains his love for Italian Cars, Porsche in particular10. However last year he sold 15 of his beloved classic cars at auction.

His collection now stands worth $18,619,319 with all mentioned below plus many more…

  • 2004 Porsche Carrera GT $620,643
  • 1955 Porsche 550 RS $4,149,448
  • Porsche 959 $868,901
  • 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera
  • Porsche
  • 1952 VW Bug
  • Porsche Boxter

Ralph Lauren is one man who is literally made of cash. His classic car collection in total is worth $248,257,591 million. It’s got to be one of the largest car collections in the world with an impressive array of exotic, rare classics.

  • McLaren F1 LM3 $4,430,614
  • 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder $4,430,614
  • 1938 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlanic Vintage $49,622,884
  • 1930 Mercedes-Benz SSK “Count Trossi” …
  • 1933 Bugatti Type 59 Grand Prix. …
  • 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900MM. …
