With out fail, whenever we post a photo of a classic muscle car on our Instagram or Facebook it will get hundreds and even thousands of likes – it seems to be one of the most popular out there!

It seems that a large majority of people absolutely love muscle cars, and you know what, I don’t know anyone that doesn’t! To me, they are the epitome of cool.

It’s easy to be drawn to them. I dig the American automotive era of muscle cars within the history span of 1960-1970 where some of the coolest, kick-arse cars were produced!

#5 – Loud and Aggressive (Liberating)

I know so many people who hate loud cars and motorbikes, but for some reason when it’s a muscle car its much more appreciated.

You have to realise, everything to do with muscle cars is about attention grabbing power and muscle.

These things are beasts and they roar like one too, so they certainly know how to make a statement when it comes to sound!

#4 – Flashy Attention Seekers (chick magnet)

Besides the fact muscle cars can be heard from a mile away, they are really something to set your eyes on too.

At first glance you see a fierce, strong, powerful looking car and they really are road beasts.

The name “muscle car” is exactly what it implies, and damn do they draw plenty of attention to them.Classic Muscle Car

#3 – Channelling the bad boy (even if you’re really a goodie two shoes)

Some fellas love to just portray a certain image with cars. Imagine a young 30-year-old guy who works in a bank and wears a pinstriped suit to work every day.

Take him out of the bank and put him into a muscle car and bang! He goes from office worker to bad boy in a badass car.

This comes down to playfulness and being able to be more authentic with what you love. You can let your inner bad boy out!

#2 – Restoring Muscle Cars is fun!

Owning one provides a great hobby for someone to work on. It’s plain and simple.

Hunting for parts is a fun part of this process and many classic car owners spend free time on ordering parts online, traveling to dealerships and trolling old junkyards.

For those who don’t think any of the above sounds fun, what you need to understand is those car enthusiasts who collect and restore see this as their absolute passion!

#1 – They are freaking COOL!

This is the most obvious of them all!

Nothing says cool like a muscle car! If you think of some of the best Hollywood films of all time, I guarantee you there are a muscle car being driven by the cool guy in the film.

Lets face it – it’s true. No one lame would be caught dead in a muscle car and if they were then they would instantly be cool!
