BMW iX Design:

The BMW iX is the face of a new generation… For the design of their latest model, BMW, endeavoured to go the extra mile in creating a completely new design language – expressive, but not overloaded, Intelligent but not complicated. The BMW brand wanted a design that at first glance symbolised a new form of driving pleasure. This resulted in an all new trendsetting SAV, with an iconic monolithic shape, details that are strong in character, and intelligent Shy-Tech features.

The interior of the car features a modern design with an iDrive centre console that is framed by an elegant wood panel, front and rear luxurious lounge seats, with a curved and free floating control display. The high-tech vehicle design creates and aura of relaxation and elegant minimalistic feel. The BMW iX’s state of the art Shy-Tech features, combined with the panoramic glass roof add a unique sense of space to the vehicle, that turns travelling into a completely new experience.

Driving Range & Performance:

The BMW iX revolutionises the premium Sports Activity Vehicle segment, with a range of over 600 km. This all new BMW model is a true everyday vehicle, it is suitable for when driving around your local suburbs or for when travelling on a long distance road trip. The car’s top performance is made possible by its unique weight-optimised body concept, which was created thanks to the BMW Brand’s years of experience in a combination of intelligent lightweight construction and innovative materials, such as; lightweight aluminium, steel and carbon.

Electric Charging:

With the numerous charging solutions from BMW Charging for at home and public, all options are open to you and your BMW iX. The essential products and services are integrated in the scope of delivery, such as access to public charging networks and to the charging equipment for at home.

The all new, all electric iX achieves a complete charging capacity of up to 200 kW! This means it can charge 120 km of range in just ten minutes or 10-80% of the battery in under 40 minutes. At home, you can conveniently charge your BMW iX on your BMW Wallbox with up to 11 kW in less than eleven hours, bringing it back to 100% battery power will require an overnight charge.

About Shy Tech:

The Shy Tech concept focuses on the passengers and allows the modern technology within the BMW iX to blend into the background until needed. This invisible intelligence can be experienced in many details of the exterior and interior such as, the kidney grille, which functions as an intelligent surface and houses camera technology, radar functions, state of the art sensor technology and heating elements. Another Shy Tech feature is the invisibly embedded speakers of the audio system and the minimalist button design for the interior.

Sustainability Shines In The BMW iX:

When compared to an SAV with a comparably powerful combustion engine, the BMW iX emits 45% fewer greenhouse gas emissions over its entire life cycle thanks to the models comprehensive sustainability concept. The reason lies in the use of exclusively renewable energies during production as well as the use of natural and recycled materials, such as the floor mats produced 100% from Econyl.
