The ever classic, officially licensed, Eleanor Tribute Edition 1967 Ford Mustang, is a completely hand-built vehicle. This particular Ford Mustang model has been built from one of the only two shops in the entire world licensed to build them. This model, being the “Midnight Edition”, features a reverse paint scheme of Axalta DuPont Black exterior paint, with movie-correct 44490 Pepper Grey stripes from the film ‘Gone In Sixty Seconds’.
About The 1967 Ford Mustang Midnight Edition:
This build begun as a true factory 1967 Ford Mustang model and became fully reconditioned by R3 Performance Products. The restoration process added new Ford-licensed Classic Series body shell sheet metal to the vehicle, prior to being built into an Eleanor Tribute Edition, with all-new parts by Brand New Muscle Car. This particular model does not have a Dynacorn body, every nut and bolt on this Ford Mustang is completely new. The parts on this car not only look like the movie-correct parts, but are actually from the suppliers of the year 2000 movie, “Gone in Sixty Seconds”, starring Angelina Jolie and Nicholas Cage.
With less than 250 test miles since the Midnight Edition was restored, this build is powered by an all-new 408ci Ford small-block V8 engine. This engine produces up tp 450 horse power, mated to a TREMEC 5-speed manual transmission.
The 1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor Edition features numerous movie-correct items and features from the 2000’s action film, Gone In Sixty Seconds. Just some of these correct items include; billet grilles, upper and lower driving lights, billet hood pins and wires, wheel flares, upper and lower side scoops, a functional stainless steel side exhaust, sequential tail lights, quarter extensions, emblems on the dashboard, fenders and rear body panels, a correct functional gas cap and side fill tank, a rear painted bumper, rear valance reverse lights and more.
The 1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor Tribute Midnight Edition, features optional upgrades such as, a range of R3 Performance Products, independent front suspension, frame connectors and 4-link rear suspension with a power rack, a modular nine inch rear end with 3.73 gears, adjustable coil-over shocks and Wilwood disc brakes the whole way round.
The Ford Mustang also comes equipped with a modern all in one heat, defrost and air conditioning system, a custom control centre console, a double DIN stereo system with CD/DVD features, a navigation system, Bluetooth and XM satellite, a tilt steering column, all-new wiring and plumbing with stainless steel lines, an aluminium radiator, electric fans, seam sealing and sound deadening insulation.
The Eleanor Tribute Midnight Edition 1967 Ford Mustang comes with an officially licensed certificate signed by the Gone In Sixty Seconds Movie Producer Denice Shakarian Halicki, a VIN plate and emblems and a full colour start to finish build book. The infamous car named, Eleanor, that is driven by Hollywood star Nicholas Cage in the film, comes with a framed “Gone in 60 Seconds” movie poster with autographs and photos from actor Nicholas Cage himself.
