Lets talk romantic classic cars! In celebration of Valentines Day classic cars popped up in mind (which typically happens on a daily basis) and I thought to myself – “isn’t it interesting classic cars have more of a romantic awe compared to contemporary modern day cars?”

I guess this comes down to the fact a classic car truly conjures up a romantic past.

Lets talk about classic films, and here is just a very basic example – guy meets a girl, plans his date, then picks her up in his magnificent ride, date goes well, a bit of car-pashing occurs, and girl falls madly in love. BOOM! Tell me it gets more romantic than that?

Now I’m not saying our new age cars aren’t romantic, I’d say they have a whole lot of sex appeal, but nothing speaks romance like a good ole classic film featuring some of the best classic cars in history.

So I gathered a couple of my favourite classic romance movies and found an array of romantic classic cars, so here’s what I came up with…

#The Love Bug! – 1962 Volkswagon Beetle

#Follow that Dream – 1961 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible

#Roman Holiday – Fiat Topolino 500 B Convertible

#Casablanca – 1940 Buick Limited

#An Affair to Remember – 1964 Ford Mustang

#Breakfast at Tiffany’s – 1958 Chevrolet Bel Air

Cars, girls, and cruising, that’s the ultimate combination for any mans Valentines Day. Back in the 1960s and even to this day I think this would be every mans Valentines desire.
